The most popular idea of Democracy relates to the
Greek and Roman civilizations

1) The collection of the People's wishes and needs, both of individual families and communities, is the first step.
2) The transfer of the wishes and needs into executive action and the enactment of those actions into solutions is the second step.

Note: No interference in the processes 1) and 2) above can be allowed, lest foreigners interfere with the process of administration.

The above reflects how it is that few other systems are known of, other than despotic dictatorships and totalitarian so called governments, which results if anything in a limitation to a comparison between a senate/parliamentary system, or a monarch king/queen choice, against which historically bad publicity (news speak?) has been constructed over the passage of centuries, if not millennia. This is likely the result of those who control the news and the media channelling (controlling) opinion and effectively limiting thinking.
