Ignorance is bliss?

But we will return to that later, because the ignorance that we in Britain and, indeed, the Western World live in today, for those who are still ignorant, is already turning from bliss to nightmare and, for those no longer ignorant, has already turned to nightmare.

As history repeats itself, or rather because human beings are so flawed as they are, human beings repeat themselves over history time and time again, so Britain is facing yet again an old enemy replenished and replete with wisdoms said enemy did not have in her previous attempts to defeat this once proud nation.

The words of the Greek philosopher Cicero, recorded over two thousand years ago, run thus,
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear."
and can never before have had their efficacy so demonstrated than the position that Britain and the United States of America now find themselves in.

Britain indeed survived the two military onslaughts of that particular enemy, but today, facing Cicero's described enemy after the enemy has penetrated its victim, Britain now is a different matter, the outcome of which is as yet unknown.

In 2016 the enemy within Britain and the enemy within the United States of America demonstrate as never before in human history the efficacy of Cicero's words.

As you may gather from the conference above (duration approximately 2 hours) Britain is now a country at war, an existential war which means that it is once again a war for its survival, another war caused by superstatist people lacking principles or understanding of nature and natural ways. This is the third such war in 100 years that Britain has been engaged in, and one that is no less perilous than either of the two previous ones, which each precipitated full blown World Wars.
